Weigh-In-Wednesday

Today is Wednesday, which for me means weigh-in day. Today I weighed in at 181.5, for a .5 loss and 24 pounds total lost. Last week I was hoping to reach the 25 lb. mark this week. As the week progressed I realized that was not going to happen. I am happy with a loss, but am tiring of puny .5 pound losses. However, I know that my effort as far as eating goes has not been on track the last few weeks. This past week, I feel like my eating got back on track but my exercising was a little off last week.

With my new exercise routine/plans that I outlined in yesterdays post I think things will get better. I better see my 25 lb milestone reached next week or I'm going to have to kick my butt that's for sure! 25 pounds lost will bring me to my half way mark towards my weight loss goals for this year. It will feel great!

I usually ramble on about something, but not today. I have to pick up my son from kindergarten in 15 minutes. I just wanted to post my weigh-in results. All part of holding myself accountable. Have a great day!

  2. I'm sure there is a great Latin expression for "Always Forward" or something. Any progress is good progress.

  5. Speaking as Barb's Mom, and having seen her just the other day, I have to say she is looking awesome! I can tell a difference so just keep it up Barb..you'll get there, even with 1/2 lb. losses.

  6. I think that losing it slowly helps to keep it off longer than losing it quickly. Just be happy it was a loss and not a .5 pound gain! Keep up the good work!

  7. Catching up on blogs...

Yay on the loss, and I have faith that you'll reach that 25 lb mark next week. Just wake up every morning and remind yourself to stay focused. Trust me, I'm the worst at this, but it's finally getting better.

As for your good/bad post yesterday...that's great about the classes opening up. As for C25K.. as long as you're staying busy with exercise I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. You're moving and staying healthy - that's what counts.

Have a great end of your week!

  8. My sister lost 50 lbs with little 1 lb or 1/2 lb drops. The great thing about that is that you will be able to keep it off. I think you are doing great :)

  10. Life does happen and the fact that you're able to live it and still lose weight is awesome! So NO butt-kicking! :)

  13. How about adding a little exercise with your kindergartener in addition. You could ride bikes together or skate or play at the park for a little fun and a good workout. Running after a 5-6 year old is a good workout.
